Battery drain due frequent sip request (options requests)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Register sip account. (for example sipnet.ru)
2. Allow phone to receive incoming calls.
3. Get a battery drain

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Phone requests sip "Options" (over udp) every 15 seconds. That does not allow 
phone to sleep and switch off radio system.

What did you do trying to solve the problem?
I have disallowed phone to receive incoming calls over sip in android options.

I have not noticed any battery drain due sip with RC13.

Hi, thanks for the report.
I have observed much often wifi wakelocks in dmesg (during suspend when 
connected to wifi) as well.
I'm trying to find out what upstream (or milestone specific?) commit sometimes 
after 12.08.2011 is causing it.
But I've never had any sip account set up.
How do you know it's a sip OPTIONS request?
I'd welcome any help in finding the cause :).
