Can You add OTG support?
OTG Nexus one with sources http://sven.killig.de/android/N1/2.2/usb_host/

This need a kernel modification, I really doubt it will ever be possible on the
Milestone

On this http://www.tombom.co.uk/blog/?p=124 seems what OTG is working, but need
usb storage drivers. Can You merge this 2 ideas? Pleeeeeeease!!!

The drivers and modules are there already indeed. There are examples where
people managed to get USB host mode running on Droid. See here:
http://www.tombom.co.uk/blog/?p=124

There is also an old topic on Android-Hilfe.de by me:
http://www.android-hilfe.de/root-hacking-modding-fuer-motorola-milestone/32221-u
sb-hub-am-milestone-wie-am-nexus.html

In dmesg one is able to "get a reaction" out of the milestone. But
unfortunately no permanent change to USB host mode...

If you look into sys/module or sys/bus/usb/drivers there are drivers for USB
Hub, HID and serial connection (no USB mass storage as it seems). But the BIG
problem seems to be that Android does not allow USB mode change during runtime.
*PERHAPS* shut-down of USB during runtime could allow USB mode change. But
first of all one would have to know WHERE to do that.

Anyway: There are certainly much more important topics in CM6 right now than
getting USB host mode to work. I`ll post any news on that topic as soon as I
get them.

I read that blog about the USB OTG on Droid with great interest in the past,
but I haven't managed to find the time to experiment with it yet.
I'm sure that I will explore it in the future...
