Unlock screen turning blank #745

What is the Mod-Version you are using?[Settings> About> Mod Version]
CyanogenMod-7.1.5-Milestone-KANG

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Maintain the cellphone in the dock until it is locked (I'm using the pattern 
lock and the rotary lockscreen).
2. Remove it from the dock and turning it to the vertical position.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The unlock screen should be showed, but while the turn animation is going on, 
the screen becomes blank (actually, only the wallpaper is showed) and the 
brightness of the screen becomes darker from half the screen up - obviously, 
lighter from there down). BUT, the unlock screen still works. I mean, I can 
unlock the phone guessing where the buttons should be.

What did you do trying to solve the problem?
I turned off the lock pattern and when I remove the phone from the dock, it 
seems to go into the same blank screen, but shortly after, the homescreen is 
shown. The problem when the lockscreen is turned on seems to be that it tries 
to show the homescreen when it should show the lockscreen, but this is just a 
guess of a programmer that has never programmed for Android.

Well, I'm attaching a screenshot of the blank screen. You will notice there's 
no problem with brightness, since it is a matter of the phone's light and not a 
software thing, I guess. And note too that the menu from the power button is 
shown correctly.

Please provide any additional information below. (/cache/logger, /dev/log)

I had exactly the same problem. I thought the lockscreen was somehow killed due 
to low memory. But now when I think of it, your explanation makes sense :D

I dont have this problem anymore with latest versions
