Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Cm7.1.5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Answer an incoming call

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to listen the person who call me, but after 3 to 5 seconds the call
goes mute and I need to call back.

What did you do trying to solve the problem?
So far, nothing.

Please provide any additional information below. (/cache/logger, /dev/log)

happened very often at 7.2.0 RC1. Sound restored only after pressed HOLD and
then UNHOLD

Thanks for reporting it here.
As I said elsewhere, I'm not able to reproduce this issue, which is rather
unfortunate.
If this issue would be specific to 7.2 RC builds, then there would be an
obvious suspect - the updated libaudio.so that enables call recording.
But if the issue appears already in 7.1.5, then it has to be caused by
something else...

Anyway, as a first take on this issue, I attach an update package for
OpenRecovery that will revert the libaudio.

Please let me know if it makes any difference.

I can imagine other possible causes of this issue, so lets test them one after
another :) .
Just one additional question for now: does it happen mainly for some particular
contacts? Especially the ones that are using some specific ringtone?

Unfortunatelly, this issue is not specific to 7.2.
It is happening on 7.1.5 too (i'm using ho!no!, and he skipped the 7.1.4)
I never get this issue on 7.1.2.
