What steps will reproduce the problem?
0. switch on the droid and complete phone startup
1.check available memory in running services with sd card inserted. i obtain
approx 10mb free
2.unmount sd
3.check again available memory in running services. i get approx 40mb
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
i would expect the amount of free memory to be almost stable. note that i
always see the same 5 services running (settings, messages, google, keyboard,
battery widget). as a comsequence, my phone is very fluid without sd inserted
while gets slow when sd is mounted. note also that i've plenty of apps on sd
but none has an associated widget, nor i launched apps on sd before measuring
available memory!
What did you do trying to solve the problem?
Please provide any additional information below. (/cache/logger, /dev/log)
