What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Power on the phone
2.Watch the M logo and 2ndboot splashscreen in full brightness
3.When booting completes, watch screen dim to about 20% of full brightness,
even when brightness is maximized in Setting->Display and cat
/sys/class/leds/lcd-backlight/brightness returns 255
4.Open apps like Browser and MMS, see screen flickers
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The ideal outcome should be screen lighting at full brightness. Currently
adjusting brightness in Setting->Display only changes the screen from dim to
barely readable.
What did you do trying to solve the problem?
Disabled custom light level in CM Setting, rebootting, full wiping, reverting
back to pre-2ndboot builds, all no avail. Couldn't revert to stock due to issue
with bootloader.
Please provide any additional information below. (/cache/logger, /dev/log)
This problem occurred after I updated to 2ndboot builds, but I can't say with
certainty that this is the exact cause. Screen is capable of displaying at full
brightness during boot process, so shouldn't be a hardware issue.
