Video & Lyrics not Displaying Simultaniously #222

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Starting the Program and using it.

I am running the latest version of Ubuntu Studio as of Today 14.04.1
I am running Java8
Also running VLC 2.1.6
& Using the Exodus Release of Quelea (every time i tried to use Genesis it told 
me that my VLC was too old, I was running 2.1.6 and now cant seem to downgrade 
back to Genesis).

When I start the program I get a gray blank screen on my second screen.  I can 
select my song with the stock Sun video as the theme.  when I tell it to go to 
live the second screen stays with the gray screen and displays the lyrics, 
Works as expected however there is NO video.

If I click two times on the Projection Window tab the Lyrics and Gray screen go 
away and the video is playing beautifully.  I cannot get them on the screen at 
the same time.  While the video is playing and I press the clear screen/blank 
screen/logo buttons they do not work.  If I click back on the Projection window 
tab the lyrics come back with the gray background and those buttons work.  Both 
the Image and Color themes work.

This does the same thing if I try to just play a video (one of the two stock 
videos & youtube). 

This software will solve many issues we have at our church and in our 
community.  ANY HELP would be very appreciated.

We haven't managed to do extensive testing on Ubuntu with video (we just don't 
have the resources to thoroughly test on every platform), so unfortunately 
these sorts of issues are possible. However, I'd recommend running with Java 7 
and seeing if that makes a difference - I've noticed a few snagging issues with 
Quelea and Java 8 myself that I've yet to have a look at.

If this still doesn't help then we'll look in more detail when we get a chance
