YouTube: Quelea crashes when adding a YouTube video and No Internet Connection is active #233

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I´m using a proxy so quelea can´t directly connet to the internet
2. Adding a YouTube video to the shedule causes Quelea to crash,
it´s not responding, but can be closed via "X"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Warning that there´s no internet Connection / connection to youtube available
at the moment

Bugfix seems not to be working as well as expected.
Still having problems adding youtube videos when there´s no internetconnection.
After adding a youtube video to the shedule (with no internetConnection), the
Quelea UI isn´t responding anymore...

Hmm, I'll have another look.

Could you start Quelea with the command line and see if there's any console
output? If so could you copy it here?

I just tried this, the console is throwing UnknownHostException errors left
right and centre but I don't get a UI lockup. I'm testing with my wireless not
connected, but I wonder if it throws a different error if its a proxy problem.

i was connected to a LAN via cable and to the internet via WiFi.
This worked well.
But when i disconnected the WiFi but stayed connected to the Local Network
without internet, the UI was locked.
Maybe it´s the same when a proxy is used... i´ll try to reproduce this
tomorrow again.
