Zoom stuck super small after rotating to landscape on Galaxy Nexus

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a puzzle in portrait mode on a Galaxy Nexus phone.
2. Rotate the device to landscape mode. Observe the keyboard take up 60% of the 
screen and the puzzle shrink to a small square in the upper left corner.
3. Rotate the device back to portrait mode. Observe the puzzle stay small / 
zoomed out in the upper left corner.
4. Try to resize the puzzle using reverse-pinch motion. Observe the size of the 
puzzle remain unchanged. The puzzle stays locked at a small / zoomed out size.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. I expected the puzzle to be restored to its original size when I rotate the 
phone back to portrait in step 3.
2. In any case, I expect to be able to resize the puzzle using the reverse 
pinch gesture if it becomes too small.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.2.6 on Android 4.1.1

This makes the game unplayable. It happens to me at random. It zooms out and I 
can zoom back in but the minute I touch the screen it zooms back out.

I always loved this app on my Cyanogenmod 7 (Gingerbread) build on my Nook 
Color.  On my new Android 4.04 based tablet (original Ainol Novo Flame 
firmware) it has this issue.  As soon as I touch the screen, the puzzle shrinks 
to a tiny size that I can't read.  It would be nice to have it back.  Thanks.

Same problem. Tmobile galaxy s 3 on ice cream sandwich. Shortyz is my favorite 
app and this is kind of a game-breaking bug :(

I love this app, and use it all the time.  However, after installing on my new 
droid 4, the above bug has made the app unusable.  Even if i manage to zoom 
out, as soon as i touch the screen the puzzle zooms to extremely tiny font 
size.  Also, if i try to use the zoom in button it actually zooms out.  The 
zoom out button also zooms out, so that didn't become the workaround I'd hoped 
for.

I'm having the same problem with my new LG Mach.  I use Shortyz incessantly, 
but it's unusable on my new device.

I just discovered this issue on a Samsung S3.  Tried an uninstall and reinstall 
- seemed to work.
