some macOS file attributes make devstack updates flaky #740

don't know that there's much i can do about this. devstacks updates remain flakey even now. i suspect this has to do with some other uses of file system event watchers in the main app that are taking precedence since RW v8.0 started watching some of those things in the addons folder
