Possible support of custom .WOPL banks for YMF262(OPL3)? #120

Hello, longtime fan of Modizer here! I’ve already seen someone else request the addition of custom .sf2, so I’d like to request .sf2’s FM parallel: custom YMF262(OPL3) .WOPL banks. The default bank is sort of middling and feels weak. In a similar vein, I’d like to request the addition of a YMF262(OPL3) option for MIDI playback. I love .sf2 as much as the next person, but having the FM OPL3 MIDI playback as an option would be incredible. Thanks!

Thanks for your email. Could you please share some example files and tell me if you use any other applications (for example on Windows or MacOS) to do the same ? I’m not experienced in .WOPL banks usage, so any reference would be useful.

I've attached a .ZIP containing Wohlstand's PGE MusPlay, an app that can play MIDI through the YMF262 via libADLMIDI, a custom .WOPL Bank (Sneakernets' DMXOPL), and some sample midis that work well with the banks that MusPlay provides (as well as the custom .WOPL bank I've provided) I hope this helps in any way.
