amsynth doesn't work with synthclone

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start amsynth
2. start synthclone
3. connect synthclone MIDI output to amsynth midi_in
4. try to record any sample in synthclone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
nothing happens. :(

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
amsynth 1.3.2, debian wheezy

Please provide any additional information below.
it is definitely a bug in amsynth, because zynaddsubfx works correctly.

This bug has already been fixed; if possible please re-try using the latest 
version from the amsynth git repository.
