Talked with Clerk on 9/17/18. She is extremely frustrated due to lack of training. Set up conference call with Manager and Clerk.

Next step is research Obetz to determine root cause.

Sent On Road Managers email explaining issue asking for call to action. sent them th audit and screenshots of reconcilation.

here is the text i sent them:

Any vehicle that uses fuel either needs to record fuel into the DIAD board, or it needs to be documented manually on paper and provided to the Facility designated Fuel Clerk. As of right now, on a daily ongoing basis, thousands of gallons of fuel go unreconciled every day. Meaning that we pump out several thousands of gallons of fuel each day, but we do not know what vehicles they went into, since it isn’t being recorded. This raises concerns of potential theft or environmental liability. Please validate with your teams that fuel is being documented and given to the Facility fuel clerk. This is a BPR audit exception and requires our attention, see attached pdf for reference. We will be following up with individual vehicles that consistently show no fuel being recorded and address accordingly until this issue is resolved.
