What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Unmount the NTFS drives connected to the USB ports
2. Download an install the 3.0.3.1-027 firmware
3. Connect the drives again and try to set permissions in the Network
Neighborhood Share.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected result would be to see the same permissions I had or have the
chance to set them again. Instead, by default every user got R/W permissions
and they are in Gray and I cannot change them as they were before the update. I
tried erasing users and adding them again. I also tried connecting the discs
back to a pc and mac to repair permissions. Nothing seems to change.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The drives are NTFS formatted in MAC with Tuxera. The RT-N56U firmware is
3.0.3.1-027. My Mac runs a OSx Lion.
Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.
If you have connection problem, then syslog file is required. (please do
attach it as a file)
Note that if there will be a poor problem description the issue status will
be changed to 'Invalid'!
There is not much to say. The drives have the same format and the same files I
was sharing before. The only thing that I changed was the firmware. I reset the
router after the upgrade but that did not help.
