What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Adsl modem in bridge mode. Router in AP mode.
2.Trying to access router web GUI from my laptop
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Access to router web GUI but I can't. I can't access with firefox, with chrome
sometimes half the page loads. I can access through my phone browser and also
through my laptop if I disconnect cable from wan port and restart the router.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

3.0.3.0-026 windows xp
Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.
If you have connection problem, then syslog file is required. (please do
attach it as a file)
Note that if there will be a poor problem description the issue status will
be changed to 'Invalid'!

Similar problem here too
i suddenly was unable to login to router.
1. So i flashed 3.0.3.1-027 using firmware utility (restoration tool) Version
4.2.7.2.
Same issue, not able to login to router at 192.168.1.1
checked the ip of my pc to be 169.254.188.155 and "ping 192.168.1.1" from
pc gives error as "PING: transmit failed. General failure."
2. Flashed again using asus utility with asus original firmware Ver. 3.0.0.4.260
Router worked absolutely fine. Was able to login, configure etc worked
Then flashed agin the custum firmware Ver. 3.0.3.1-027
   Same problems came back.
Again tried flashing with old ver. 3.0.3.0v-026.
   No respite to the issues.
3. google for problem.got hint to clear nvram.
Flashed back the original firmware. enabled telnet, logged in via telnet,
ran the command mtd-erase -d nvram to clear nvram.
then flashed again the custon firmware.problem still persists.
4. Back to use original firmware from asus for now
missing the power of padavan's firmware.

Please resolve the issue.
thanks

I have this same problem with half ass page loading on the RT-N65U .. updating
firmware does nothing, issue carries forward. But I found a workaround though.
Here are the steps to reveal the complete GUI ..
Use firefox browser and to http://192.168.1.1 .. and observe the half ass page..
click onthe icon that looks like a monitor once
Now, click on the button "refresh"
Now, reload the entire page by clicking on the little icon next to the address
bar
viola! you can now see the full landing page
If it remains stubborn and you still see the landing page, then keep repeating
the steps and sometimes at random and suddenly you see the full landing page
In my opinion, this is complete BULLSHT and I hate it, what could have been a
nice experience screwed up by poor implementation. Shame on Asus.
