Before you deploy, is there something you can do to remove comments from the source?

Looks like the only option is to use third party programs to remove them for you

Is there anything else you want to add? If not, I'm going to create the deployment branch.

The branch is created under origin/deployment. See if you can switch to it

Command line:

git checkout --track -b origin/deployment
