Genuinely can't remember why I thought this had much to do with particle rendering. So I'll rename it!
I'm going to merge when the tests pass, because I think that it's better to get it in, but I will note that fullscreen exit isn't exactly correct yet.
This extends the particle rendering a bit, but also includes the fullscreen support I've been thinking about. It's not done yet! The fullscreen stuff messes up when you come back out! But, it's not that bad.
