BLD: yt fails to build against uv-managed Python binaries #5022

Bug summary

This problem might not within our control, but others might stumble upon it, so I'd like to raise awareness on this at an early stage. I intend to dig into this before we release yt 4.4.0 to at least decide wether it's a yt problem or an upstream problem.

From what I can tell, it seems that the root cause may be a bug (defect ?) in setuptools

anyway I don't think this can be solved on our side.
