Simple 2D variable mesh explorer

Everything is in place to make a variable mesh explorer that responds to keyboard commands or mice commands.

It would just need:

• arrays of the px, py, pdx, pdy, field values
• a pixelizer that operated on the transformed vertices
• vertex transformer that took the view window and put that on to viewport coordinates

I think this is feasible, but my lingering doubt is related to whether or not the existing 3D focus (and camera) would get in the way.
