Now that the alpha version of the web browser extension is published, I need to test it thoroughly.
Start by making a list of problems here, to have a global view, and then transform them into issues:
[ ] test all possible youtube url: mobile, shared, short, playlist, regular…
works alright on Windows 11, Google Chrome Version 118.0.5993.71
Firefox (Linux) (118.0.2 64-bit)
[ ] similar problem with the icon not changing and having an orange dot below it.
To remove this problem: right click icon > manage extension > "Permissions" tab > Enable access your data for *://www.youtube.com
=> Maybe I can remove this problem by modifying the match pattern to https://www.youtube.com/* (I forgot to do it for firefox manifest!!!)
[ ] instead of changing the icon, a blue/green dot appears below the icon, you have to click the icon for it to be updated
