[France.tv] How to download WebVTT subtitles from the France 2 site??

Note that youtube-dl does not support sites dedicated to copyright infringement. In order for site support request to be accepted all provided example URLs should not violate any copyrights.

I can't seem to find a quick way to download the WebVtt subtitles from the following page & merge them into a single srt file even if I've added the parameters "--all-subs --convert-subs srt" (please see the traces above):

Could anyone walk me through the steps to download the HTML 5 WebVTT subtitles from the site above?

OK I've found the way: "--skip-download --sub-format vtt --write-sub": https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl/issues/11026

But I can't seem to convert it to srt by default: adding "--skip-download --sub-format srt --write-sub" doesn't work. Anyone has any thoughts?

The website most likely does not have srt format available for download.
