They definitely do a better job at obscuring their content than they do the production of their trash tv content.

Normally, you need to be logged in after which you'll have access to the relevant m3u8 files under dev tools necessary for youtube-dl to work its magic. I tried a bunch of tricks in the past assisting someone else.

https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/pull/27815#pullrequestreview-584676459 is a fix for the old VierVijfKijkOnline extractor. Applying some small changes to that PR makes it work with GoPlay.
