key-combination/button to switch vimium on/off without browser restart #15

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install and enable vimium
2. Try to enter some text into some kinds of web forms (e.g. etherpad lite).
3. => when entering text containing the key "f", vimium starts highlighting
links, thus interfering with the entering of text.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have no problems with vimium when using most web forms (like this one here
(vimium-firefox issue form)). But on some web forms (e.g. etherpad light), the
problem that I described above occurs. Hitting "f" (while entering text)
activates the "follow link" feature of vimium, hampering the entering of text.
Therefore, it would be great if one could disable and enable the vimium
functionality without having to restart the browser, e.g. through a key-combo/a
button or via settings inside of the preferences.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I use vimium 1.36 with Firefox 16.0.2 on Ubuntu Linux 12.04 (precise) 32-bit.

Please provide any additional information below.
