white/blacklist sites is a good idea, or barring that, a keystroke to turn
on/off vimium, e.g. 'i' as if we were going into 'insert mode', and <esc> to
return to regular vimium usage.

Couldn't you specify the pages were it is not working well and explain how to
reproduce?

I've had troubles using vimium with etherpads, e.g.

whoops, that's exactly my problem, too (which I discribed in issue 15). Yes, a
blacklist/whitelist would also be a good solution, didn't think about that.
One example for a site where vimium makes problems is this one:
http://www.piratenpad.de/
Just enter something into the field and you can test with your own pad. It uses
etherpad light.
Hope you can do something about it. Again, thanks for that nice addon! :)

I hope this get done soon. Do you have any timeline?
I need to stop using my mouse due to wrist problem. I already have a special
keyboard, but going to the mouse is still a problem for me. clicking on url is
currently what hurt my wrist the most.
thanks

This is definitely an issue on Gmail. It's really impossible to use Gmail with
Vimium enabled.
