Cupcake SDCard large file handling #133

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed Mapdroyd + DownDroid (download manager) OR
2. Using adb to push file larger than 3M to the FR sdcard. Even the sync
command hangs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
File to copy, and be accessible. Instead, the SDCard stops responding. It
still reads as mounted rw when doing a mount in a shell, but IOFileManager
or even doing an ls in a terminal does not give back any listing of files.
SDCard access is frozen. After forced restart, file is not complete, but
SDCard is (thankfully) accessible.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cupcake 0.2.0 RC1

I would double check your SDcard, I have pushed files of over 100MB without
problem.

Formatted and tested SDCard op PC with card reader: no problem. Via USB
through the
FR, same problem still. Cutoff seems to be 5G. Even WiFi download directly
stops at
about 5G.

Thx
