Is this with the stock 2.1 HERO firmware?

I have the same issue but I do sometimes find zones if another remote control
(pc/iphone) is started first.

I use SE Xperia X10 mini pro 2.1 update 1.

I am experiencing the same issue on a Droid X. If I manually add the zone by IP
address, it will remain in the zones screen for about a minute and then
disappear. I have never had a successful scan to find a zone without manually
adding it by IP address. I am using Sonos version 3.3 and the latest Andronos
version 53. I have had this problem with all of the Andronos versions so I am
not sure what the issue could be.

I just solved this issue when I discovered my phone was on the same network but
using a different SSID to get on. The ip address of my zp was 192.168.0.5, and
I could not enter this in Andronos. My phone ip was 192.168.2.2, because it was
using a "guest" wireless feature of the router. I changed my phone to the
"base" SSID and it was givein a new ip address: 192.168.0.8 - it then found the
player first time.

Is this because it is not looking on a bg enough range of ip addresses? Is
tehre a way of finding like sonosn do, pressing a button on the zp so it
broadcasts something, maybe?
