Video recording sound is too low #17

The video quality is excellent. The sound too, but this the volume is too loud.
You almost have to scream so the microphone catch your voice.

It would be better if it has more gain (forced limits), so it record the voices
better.

ms2g 3.0, defy bayer

Microphone is on the front of the defy. Camera is on the back. Thats why you
can`t here voice in front of camera well.

Hi walter! Nope, actually defy has somehow like an stereo sound. You have 1
mike in the back and another mike in the front. It is the hole you see in the
case. With this rom, the mike in the back(same place as the camera) works, but
really low and with so bright sound (less bass than normal). And both volumes
are low, but that one is lower than the front (call-taking) mike.

Thanks 4 replying I hope you fix it :)

I found no settings to increase mic volume.

isn't somewhere such a GAIN option for each mike? Or at least for both. In fact
to fix this I edit the video on my PC and just increase total volume. Or
better, limit the sound to -.05dB.
Thats sad because some config like that could have fixed this. :(

Another strange thing with this rom and the camera. Some apps like WHATSAPP,
when you go to record video, instead of automatic turning into VGA o QVGA mode
like original rom and let you record 1 to 5 minute, it stay in 720p only giving
option to record 6seconds !! So I have to record in 720p, use the native editor
to resize to VGA and then send it.

is there a way to fix it? should I open a new thread?
