Wishlist: Support Matrix.org #10

Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralised, real-time communication over IP[citation needed]. It’d be great if Wey supported it.

Unlike slack, we're actively interested in folks implementing as many clients as possible and our APIs are perhaps more fun to work with. It could be a really interesting exercise to get Wey talking Matrix and we'd love to help - patching in matrix-js-sdk could be super easy, and you'd get end-to-end encryption too for free!

Exactly what I wanted to see. Matrix has been on my radar for a while (may set up a server, haven't been super excited by Riot thus far) and I love the principles. I found Wey last night via hacker news and quickly saw the potential connection. I would be glad to put in a donation (cash, server space?) toward seeing this happen.

The UI looks great, looking forward to testing it with Slack, and hopefully Matrix in the future.
