InfoWindow open: this.removeChild is not a function

Maps API 1.0 RC
FF 3 and hosted mode (linux)

Caling 
infoWindow.open(marker, content);
many times with different content sometimes brokes infowindow. Infowindow
is blank and exceptions are throwed
