HelloMaps demo shows 2 copies of the Earth Plugin in IE7 #238

Detailed description:
I am seeing 2 copies of the plugin, one on top of the other when I run the 
Earth Plugin demo page in Hello Maps.

Seems to be a problem with the Maps API version 140+.  Reproduced in other 
browsers 
on Windows XP and on Safari/Mac using straight JavaScript.
