Invalid email is able to be parsed

Description: When adding a tutee or tutor, my email is yugan@gmail and it is still able to be parsed even though, copying the email address into gmail or outlook and sending an email to that address results in an error.

Steps to reproduce: add \n Yugan \e yugan@gmail \p 90901272 \a wow 702183

Expected behaviour error warning user of invalid email

Actual behaviour person is parsed

Reason for severity Emails may be used regularly as a tool of communication for sending exam scripts, test papers and if a invalid email address can be parsed and accepted, it may result in a lot of administrative hassle.

Team's Response

This would not affect normal operations of the application. Moreover, the reason for the severity is too specific of an issue and does not apply to a lot of cases. Moreover, the phone number is there for the user to use.
