I think the type of cut (on-hole or between-holes) should be selectable simply
by choosing the location of the cut; if you place the cut on a hole, the hole
type is used, otherwise the thin in-between-hole cut is used.
Track cuts look good if the cut is between holes, and I like the fact that
diylc supports that option, but for track cuts that are on holes, I think they
should show the shape that's formed when a track is cut with a drill bit or
track cutting tool - like a pair of parentheses surrounding the hole. The
existing square with a dot doesn't mean anything to me.
