Could you post the screenshot where you set the temperature color via bringing up the color panel?
Hello! The temperature indicator comes from another software. While the network indicator is from Menu Meters. For the network indicator, the color is RGB 0-0-0.
I'm very sorry, I meant the CPU percentage color.
Hello yujitach, no problem. What screenshot do you need me to share? As far as I know, Menu Meters offers no way to change the CPU % indicator color.
I didn't realize that there wasn't a way to change the color :-O (You know, I'm not the original author of this app...) But then I just don't see why it's not showing pure black. What is the tint setting in the "About" tab of MenuMeters' preferences?
Note that MenuMeters use labelColor
and not blackColor
to draw the CPU percentage, as recommended in Apple's Human Interface Guidelines:Labels. This is not guaranteed to be pure black.
The tint setting is set to "original."
Thanks. Then I don't think I can have anything I can do for you, unless I add another color well in the preferences so that users can choose the text color of the CPU percentage to be blackColor
rather than labelColor
.
I don't know. But all the other indicators I have in the menu bar are black.
What happens if you set the size of the CPU percentage to be "large" in the preferences? Does it still look gray?
Still gray.
Could you attach the screenshot in a way I can compare with the temperature meter of the other app?
A screenshot is attached to my first post. Can you see it? Do you need anything different than that?
I’d like a screenshot when the text size is large.
Please find below some screenshots. Actually, it seems the CPU indicator is lighter than the network indicator (which I made black using the MenuMeters options), but it seems of the same color as the temperature indicator of the other app (when the large size option is selected). Maybe that has something to do with antialiasing.
Hello, the CPU percentage displayed in the menu bar is not black. As you can see in the screenshot below, it is gray compared to the network bandwidth indicators (which I chose to have full black).
