Unable to set default user #373

I'm pretty new to linux and wsl in general. I did successfully install ArchWSL with the method 1 installation method from this repo few weeks ago. I was running into some problems so I decided to reinstall it again from scratch but somehow I keep getting stuck on this step.

I made sure the path environment variables are set in the wsl as well

The /usr/bin/id command also runs fine from the root.

Any suggestion ?

I did some searching and found a closed issue in the microsoft/wsl repo and followed the instructions. It fixed it. Turns out it was a path environment issue for wsl in general.
