Getting "Sign In To Confirm Your Age" Verification Request #1102

As the subject says. This started happening about a week ago, I'm not sure why. When I try to watch certain channels on certain videos I get a message saying "sign in to confirm your age this video may not be appropriate for some users". I am signed into YouTube, and I'm not sure where else I might sign in. This does not occur when I use the official YouTube app. Any assistance provided would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure if this is allowed but... Can you link to a video this happens with so that others can see if it happens to them? Also what version of STN and what kind of device.

Are you using a google "brand account", if so it seems there was a recent change where you cannot view age restricted account while signed into a brand account.

First, thank you for getting back to me Wolf68k and radhaz. I appreciate the help and I absolutely love the app.

I use an Nvidia Shield. This issue was not present until recently, prior to the last couple of weeks it did not occur.

I just performed an update to a new version. This issue is not happening now at all, after checking numerous videos.

For future reference the media in question were police procedural videos some of which had age restrictions on them. These played without the restriction before. At some point the videos would not play and were blocked with the aforementioned message. The only place I had the issue was on the Nvidia Shield. I could, for instance, bring up the video on my phone with the official YouTube app and then Chromecast it to my TV, and all my other methods for using YouTube functioned properly. It was only SmartTubeNext and only on the Nvidia Shield.

It appears to be sorted out now. Again, I appreciate the help. I honestly would not watch YouTube were it not for this app. I am going to donate. Thank you.
