There is a substantial loudness difference between youtube videos. This is specially egregious when comparing music videos and more general types of content. Music videos are consistently louder, sometimes to an obnoxious extent, which pretty much forces you to manually adjust volume.
I was wondering whether it would be possible (assuming it's not too hard) to add an "Audio Normalization" feature that would measure loudness of the video (maybe just the first minute, or a few random intervals) and normalizes the volume to be a fixed amount.
