System overlay apps invoking enter to PIP #1629

A few weeks I noticed that whenever the system menu overlay is open, STN would enter PIP mode, which is a bit annoying, and have to click on the launcher icon again.

At that time I check the settings of STN and noticed that this was happening if I select "HOME/RETURN" activation which I actually use very often when browsing the Home section or other places, and do not want to change to "HOME" option. I am not sure if this is happening because of my OS update (running Andriod 10 build QTG3.200913.003 on PHILIPS OLED) or STN update.

Does anyone know the cause of this? I checked the code here but I am not sure from where the invocation is coming from.
