[Bug] Scrolling video titles text stuttering #163

Devices: Chromecast Ultra with Google TV (2020) Samsung Q70T 4K TV

Video title text has a "crawling" effect, as if the individual letters are jumping every few frames horizontally. I've disabled all video processing on the TV and the effect is the same. Changing the setting of the Chromecast device from 4K60 to 4K50 seems to lessen the effect so my guess is that the scroll rate of the text is too close to a standard refresh rate. (4K30/4K25/4K24 all have similar effects that the motion is more uniform around a multiple of 24-25 fps)

Same here as well, then text scrolling is not smooth at all. Frankly I would prefer larger title area so that’s most of video titled wouldn’t fit in without any scrolling
