Just did the latest stable update and was met with an immediate quality of life decrease. I love subtitles and want them to be on whenever possible, but only when they are accurate and not autogenerated. Now, I can only have subtitles toggled on including autogenerated ones, or be stuck with subtitles off and having to manually check each video for whether they are subtitled (especially since, unlike the official YouTube web app, there is no CC icon indicating actual subtitles).
Surprisingly, the YouTube desktop web app handles this very well - when you turn on actual subtitles and turn off autogenerated subtitles, it will remember this for all videos. Please implement either that functionality or just add a simple toggle to turn off autogenerated subtitles.
