SmartTube Next history is not synced #1982

I have the latest version of SmartTube Next downloaded from the official site. The videos that I have seen do not show in the history list. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it on my TV Box. Naturally, the videos I watch on my YouTube app do not show up in the history list as well. The history shows up in my YouTube app on my old generation Smart TV and on the normal YouTube app on my other TV Box. I love it that SmartTube Next omits all the annoying ads but what can I do to enable the seen videos to show up in the history list? I am using the same Google account for both SmartTube Next and YouTube.

I am also having this issue. I just now updated and it seems to have done it. It was fine before

I'm having this issue now, too. Any video I watch on STN won't show up in my YouTube watch history. How far I am through a given video isn't synced between STN and the official YouTube apps, either, like it used to. I'm using the latest stable release.
