URL isn't working or incorrect time #2795

I am getting this error on a lot of videos. Running the beta on an Nvidia Shield.

Same problem over here - stable version on FireTV - the error seems to be present since last version - the error message got more detailed with the present stable version. Sometimes the message shows a much shorter message, something with url not found.

For over a week the previous update where broken: incorrect url, incorrect time (code 429). This applied to archived video older than 3 days.

Early Saturday (01: 48 Hrs EDT) I applied the update to STB, All archived videos work perfectly.

About 22:11 I upgraded to STB (18.95); now all archived video have Error Code 429 errors and fail to load again. Please reset STB to the previous fix, so that STB will be usable again.

Please tell me if I can how I can help; if you need more info, please let me know.

I am running STB on Nvidia Shield (2019) Pro TV it is fully current.

BTW: your QR Codes are not valid and are not workable, is this on purpose?

Same here. Previous version started to show this error on some videos, updated to latest version. And now it's pretty much on all videos with few exceptions...

It would be really good to be able to download and install older version of the app from within app, rather than finding APK and sideloading

Update I've just cleared cache and it seems this made videos to work again

I found a work around for my Shield Pro.

Turned the internet time keeping off.

Manually set the time back somewhere between 20 to 40 seconds.

I can't tell you exactlly how much because, my system reports in one minute intervals.

I did this multiple times till it finally worked.

Why did I do this? Because, it kept reporting time issues. I asked why do web browsers work? Why does the youtube app work? What is the difference? Why would that matter?

So I decieded to experiment with the time, and after playing around with it I got it to consistently. However, it should be noted, that all the other apps take longer to load now.

There needs to be away to adjust the ST & STB internal clocks, to accomedate this problem.

I am a troubleshooter, not a programmer.
