Can only see primary Google Account (the owner of my YouTube account) #3069

Hi there!

First of, thanks for an amazing app!

Since last update I had to reset the app and reinstall in because no videos were playing. I reset the app and wanted to log back in. Logging in i noticed I couldn't select my YouTube account - only my Google Account was visible for selection when logging in with the ALPHABET code given. This is a problem since my main Google Account (the owner of my YouTube Account) has no subscriptions, likes, playlists etc so my YT experience is back to vanilla. Is there any way of getting back the log in where I could choose that option? I have to have had that option before since I've been using SmartTube for quite a while now.

I am having the same issue. Currently when signing in, it is only allowing me to choose my "default" username@gmail.com, but since all my subscriptions and history are tied to you my youtube channel "brand" account I can not access those.

In the past i did not have this problem as I am still signed in using my youtube channel "brand" account on my other devices. I noticed that the account name on those devices shows "username-0000@pages.plusgoogle.com"

Is there anyway to switch from my gmail/google account to my youtube channel "brand" account?

I installed version 18.5 and surprisingly it gave me the option to choose my brand account. Then I just updated the app to the latest version.

Thanks for the hint! I actually can choose my brand account as well now. After restarting the app once more I noticed I had both my email and my name that I could choose in accounts. When choosing just my name it was linked to my brand account!

So everything is working as it should!

For anyone still struggling: there seems to be difference if you use yt.be/activate vs youtube.com/activate. For me the first one only allowed me to pick the primary Google account and the second one (the full URL) gave me two choices: primary account and the youtube channel.
