News is only in Polish language #3172

I have a similar issue. I am in South Africa; settings are English and South Africa and I get Arabic news. Then deleted app, reinstall now get local top news but all the rest 28 rows of Spanish news. All the rest of the app is fine seeming to affect just news. Setting location to United States gets top line US and the rest Spanish again. Interesting when switching to Saudi Arabia it gives Arabic but in Location setting shows South Africa. Wandering if these two are not swapped because we do sometimes get confused with Saudi Arabia because of similar abbreviation eg RSA. Now even if setting South Africa, it stays Arabic news and rest Spanish.

I also have a similar issue, the first line of results are fine but the rest are from random countries (mostly india and middle east) not my home country.

i do have exactly the same problem. anyone found a solution? maybe retitle the issues to "News in foreign language only"

I guess this might have to do with YouTube trying to prevent apps such as SmartTube by dumping bad channels.
