Closed Captions have been broken on my FireTV Box (2nd gen) for last 6 mo. #3470

I haven't been able to use closed captions on my FireTV since right around the time when they changed the icon.

If I short press it does nothing. If I long press and bring up the menu under "subtitles" & "subtitles (autogen)". Inside both of those menus there is a single option labeled "Subtitles disabled" and nothing else.

The bottom 3 options still display the full range of choices for style, scale, & shift.

During the summer I often use cc at night because my AC unit is quite loud & I disturb people when they volume is up loud enough for me to hear.

Thanks guys love the app. I can't imagine watching YouTube without it!

I can't enable subtitles either. Amlogic TV Box.
