Backup and Restore = Casting / Remote Control Destroyed #3555

I backed up my settings from one device and restored it later to two devices. Ever since then, everything has been a gong show related to casting.

I simply cannot cast to the devices. The names are switched, and nothing works properly. It's crazy.

I've deleted all devices from both SmartTube and my phones, still the same awful bug.

I have a similar issue with my Tanix W2 units. I have two units in my household: one named "Kitchen - Tanix W2" and the other "Bedroom - Tanix W2" (as per their Android settings). I used the Backup and Restore feature in SmartTube settings to clone settings from one device to another. However, when I try to use the Remote Control feature in SmartTube, both devices appear with the same name and are displayed as one device, even after reconnecting them. On my phone, the displayed name is just "Tanix W2" without the specific room designation.

Is there a setting in SmartTube that allows specifying unique device names for remote control?
