Infinite Load Times and cannot sign in #3557

Unable to load videos on Home Screen and other screens, and receiving infinite loading icon. Unable to sign in and receiving "user code is loading".

Uninstalled and reinstalled the app and problem still persists. Internet and other applications are working as expected. Issue is isolated to SmartTube app

Issues started when updating to latest version 21.91.

On a Sony Bravia KD 55X80J Google Smart TV. Connected to Ethernet.

Same situation happening with me, using a Mi Box 4 connected to 5G WiFi.

Similar issue with a Shield, very very long load times.

Got the same login and user code is loading issue on a new hd chomecast here.

found out that if you go to settings -> accounts and sign in there, then the code shows up

Same here.

Home screen takes a while to load all videos, and when you select a video it takes around a minute to play.

Happening on 2 firestick max, and an Onn android tv box as well. For some reason, it's working fine on my Hisense Google TV.

It's improved a little, now just very slow for me. It might be a YouTube issue.

Funny, this fixed the problem on my Firestick Generation 1 but not on my Chromecast Gen 3. Whether I try to add a new remote or simply sign in, it says “User code is loading…” and does not load.
