[BUG]: Videos Keep Appearing Multiple Times in Each Category (Home, new To You, Recently Uploaded, etc) #4028

Steps to reproduce the bug

Go to "Home" section (or, main page) where each category is listed (Default row, from your subscriptions, new to you, recently uploaded, etc).

Force close app, clear cache and so on, same error keeps occurring.

Same issue was prevalent a couple of version ago but fixed itself with an update and has now appeared a few updates later, following the 403 issues etc. being fixed.

Actual behavior

In each category, the same videos appear again and again in various orders, as do the annoying "youtube playlists".

For example, lets say the "new to you" section has 20 video suggestions, and we numbered them 1-20. The category will have video: 1 followed by 2, then 3, 4, 5, then 3 again, followed by 4, followed by video 6, then 1, then video 2, 3, then 7, etc. In every category and (especially the first, "default" category of my suggestions/suggested videos) usually ends with repeats of the same suggested playlists, sometimes with up to 6 of the exact same playlist, one after the other, filling the last six spaces.

Playing one of the videos will show them all as having been played until (but they of course all stay there until refreshed, only to be replaced by new repeated videos) but clicking "not interested" for example, only removes the one video that it was clicked on, leaving the others. I'm highlighting this just to show that they are appearing as if they are separate videos, in case that helps.

I'd like to add, I love the app, have been using it for some time, and other that the out of anyone bar Youtube's greedy control, 403 issues (which have been quickly fixed each time), this is the only issue I have experienced, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Happening to me as well, I'm using the app on a First sick.

Same here on Shield TV Pro. I thought I was going crazy.
