I really doubt it's not a wrapper, you can't just decompile a google app, modify it and post it on Github, with binaries and all, that's why Vanced has their own website.

btw no one is telling anyone to do anything @evertonstz , mostly anything related of what you wrote.
I was just making conversation.

Vanced is a well known modded version of YouTube

no one is toking about wrappers, decompiling/recompiling or sharing wherever was somehow modded anywhere.
I have no idea on how Vanced works is made I was just making conversation.

What are you talking about, mate? What I'm saying is that this app in specific, SmartYoutubeTV is probably wrapped around the web-based interface(that's youtube.com/tv ) simply because it's against the rules to host illegal code and binaries on GitHub, that's all. And if I'm right, it'll stop working once google kills the web interface, that's what the issue is talking about.
The video you posted is the official leanback youtube app for Android TV, that's also a wrapper but the website it's wrapped on is not youtube.com/tv so all official leanback apps won't be affected, only non official ones like this one.
@evertonstz yours post implies that I wanna that someone do this
decompile a google app, modify it and post it on Github
When the conversation never ever reach that state but from nowhere you started it.
All I wanna to make is a conversation that does't in any way implies that level or sharing a google thing.

Does it? I guess you're not a native English speaker, so let me try to explain: "decompile a google app, modify it and post it on Github" that's my argument to say SmartYoutubeTV is a webwrapper: It's not using google's code, and the only way to do that, as far as I know, is to wrap it around youtube.com/tv . I'm not talking about you mate. This discussion is related to SmartYoutubeTV, what you do or don't do with your repositories is not my business.
@evertonstz you quote me with this
you can't
if you are quoting someone and writing "you", you are talking about me, I never told I would do that or told anyone to do that.
that is why I started the discussion read again I started with
btw no one is telling anyone to do anything @evertonstz , mostly anything related of what you wrote.
I'm solely bothered on the implication that you make regarding me.
and btw I born speaking the same language as you and never ever had any education on the english language why because I can't afford it so thank you for the free education, but I do know how to educate myself and know when to use "you" or "one" you could had just write
one can't just decompile a google app...
without quoting me, and the problem would never started.
do you get it now? the problem that you creating implying that I would do or request something to someone?
I read this article today "YouTube is killing its web-based TV interface" on Android police.
https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/09/13/sorry-htpc-owners-youtube-is-killing-its-web-based-tv-interface/
Is this going to affect this app?
