My device overheat [temperature reaches 82 and more] #391

Great app for Android box. After problems with the native solution from Google, it became an excellent replacement for the original client. But I still have problems, although of a purely hardware nature. The thing is that using the new application, my device began to overheat: if before the processor temperature was around 60 degrees, now the temperature reaches 82 and more. And there are periodically sound dips in the form of crackles. Previously used the client version 1.3.11.

Device: Mini M8S Amlogic S905 Stock firmware I watch videos in 360p

I can assume that there against the background of a transparent widget hangs and because of this overheating. In any case, for me this is a big problem. If these additional capacities are really needed, me will have to do something with cooling then and probably with power suply. If this can be fixed, it will be just wonderful.

Hi. Try Pro Main/Pro Alt launchers.

Yeah, I finded it.

Previously used a light launcher, now it is a pro launcher. Many more quality selection options. I chose AVC 854x480 video quality and the temperature dropped to 72 degrees.

Thank you so much. This solved my problem.

I still then create additional cooling, which is not so much a strong thermal overload and this can easily be solved.
