Micro-stuttering while playing 2160p60 content #658

I am experiencing micro-stuttering with 2160p60 content, like The World in HDR in 4K. Can ExoPlayer be updated to 2.12? It supports asynchronous MediaCodec mode. Another possibility to optimize playback of such content would be tunneled video playback, see here.
